Web services require fast action deployed automatically, with as little human interaction in real-time to avoid, block or suppress a single threat or series of the same threat and, by definition, to change a failed control weakness.  iGRC is the process of accepting electronic warnings via an open protocol (GRCiP), and referencing them to the Proteus® information security management system.  This enables rapid threat level, measure and control change.

With such widespread inter and intranet web-based services now deployed, arguable the current new frontier – a far more rapid assessment of the likelihood of security threats across the organization and determination of the vulnerabilities exposing them to each new threat is crucial.

This is what the iGRC Consortium brings, corrective actions almost as rapid as the threat events themselves and preventative measures swiftly deployable anywhere in the organisation via the Proteus® information security management system coupled by the GRCiP protocol to sensor systems supplied and championed by our lead network level partners – Assuria and Nexor.
